Tug

This model Tug built in 2006 is of the Envoye and features remotely operating water jets that can spray up to 20 feet. The original boat was built in England and was used to assist American cargo ships. Photographed at Lake Balboa in the city of Encino, California.

Retriever

This custom-made model boat was created for the sole purpose of retrieving stalled craft in the middle of the lake. A big hit with other builders it features a model plane propeller for power placed above the water line to avoid debris and a wide design to straddle any shape or size model. It has proven nimble through trash bags or surface vegetation and has come to the rescue of many stalled or disabled craft stuck too far from the shore. PT-109

This model PT-109 built in 1999 is 1:20 scale of the famed
Kennedy Torpedo Boat. Built from a Dumas model kit it features custom made brushless electric motors for power and remotely powered gun turrets. By scale at 40 knots to match the original craft. Photographed at Lake Balboa in the city of Encino, California.
